What it is all about:
GESS is a 7-day program supporting international and entrepreneurial-minded students who are strongly committed to improve our society.This year’s topic is all about food. According to the Food and Agriculture Organization, nearly 800 million people are suffering from hunger. Yet, our global food waste could feed three billion people every year. Thus, it is necessary to develop innovative solutions to tackle this problem. Out of 1.200 applicants from all over the world, 35 of them will present their impact-driven entrepreneurial solutions at our final in Munich.
Time to celebrate:
What started out as a bold idea by Munich’s four university entrepreneurship centers (Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship, LMU Entrepreneurship Center, UnternehmerTUM, CeTIM), has now become a strongly established institution. We've expanded globally to Shanghai and Mexico City by building firm partnerships with Tongij University and the Tecnológico de Monterrey – thanks to the support of our global partner SAP Foundation. After having educated more than 350 students in tackling global challenges through entrepreneurial means, it’s time to celebrate the success of GESS!

Is my registration/ticket transferable?
Yes. You can invite additional colleagues and friends to the event. But please make sure, everyone registers via Eventbrite due to limited seats. If you are registered already, but something prevents you from coming last minute, please write a short email to info@globalsummerschool.or<wbr>g.
