Up to now, there has been no uniform standard in medicine for documenting wounds. Wounds have so far only been documented in two dimensions and under varying conditions, with the result that important information is lost. With our new approach to wound documentation, we would like to offer physicians and researchers the possibility of representing wounds three-dimensionally and thus uniformly. In this way, we enable fast, reproducible and objective wound analysis.
