Triple Helix Chapter Germany
The Triple Helix Association is a not-for-profit, non-governmental association with scientific purpose and global reach. It was founded in 2009 by leading international scholars in entrepreneurship and innovation to promote the study of the interactions among Academia-Industry-Government and is presided by Prof. Henry Etzkowitz, who developed the Triple Helix model.
Since 2019 the association has a “German Chapter”, led by THE Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship at the Munich University of Applied Sciences, in order to promote debates and collaborative initiatives on the country. Its main scope is to advance the scientific knowledge and operational capacity to ignite and manage Academia-Industry-Government interactions to foster research, innovation, knowledge and technology transfers, entrepreneurship and regional sustainable developments.
The association and its German Chapter are open for individual members (policy-makers, practitioners and academics) and organisational members (universities and affiliated units, research institutions, governmental agencies and industries).
