The software of the AI start-up Flowsight has convinced the jury of the BMWK ideas competition with its intelligent process optimization, which makes predictive maintenance in the process industry possible, as reported on the BMWK ministry website exist.de.

Flowsight enables precise maintenance forecasts and a real-time overview of processes, thus preventing downtimes and failures caused by purely reactive maintenance and also saving costs through improved resource efficiency.

In the #DigitaleInnovationen ideas competition organized by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK), digital innovations from people interested in founding a company and start-ups are awarded prizes every year. Flowsight convinced the jury with their AI-based solution in the field of predictive maintenance, which is designed for breweries and the beverage bottling industry, among others.

The EXIST start-up was founded by alumni of Augsburg University of Applied Sciences and is supported by DICA Drink innovation Campus and AI + Munich.
