Transfer Lab
The Transfer Lab researches and promotes the transfer of knowledge and technology between science, business, politics and (civil) society. Two teams come together under the umbrella of the Lab to build a bridge between theory and practice: The ‘Imparting Transfer Skills’ team is researching the needs and conditions for developing a culture of transfer and innovation at universities of applied sciences. The team around HM:UniverCity develops, moderates and evaluates practice-orientated formats for co-creative processes with the respective cooperation partners. Theoretically, the lab is based both on the Quadruple Helix framework, which centres on collaborative work on innovation by actors from science, business, politics and civil society, and on systems theory.
