Our startup alumni Spyra showed us once again how to do a Kickstarter funding round right with the launch of their new product, the world's first water bomb launcher. The campaign was fully funded in 7 minutes and has now raised over 600% of the original funding target. On 17.09.2024, the SCE Alumni Team of MEDEA Biopharma was selected as one of the 16 winners of the Startup Germany Summit. The health startup develops sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions based on bacteriophages to effectively combat even antibiotic-resistant bacteria in humans, animals and plants.

The next"Happy Impact Hour" will take place on Tuesday, Oktober 15. The startup Medabsy was named one of the "Top 20 Vision Tech Startups 2024" by the trade magazine inVision. This Europe-wide selection was made by a jury of experts, including the German Engineering Federation. The start-up was founded in Dingolfing in 2022 by Trang Nguyen, Richard Metzler and Maximilian Grau and is an alumnus of the SCE Incubation Program.

SCE alumnus and spacetech startup Dcubed has been selected by the European Commission for the EIC Accelerator and will receive 9.5 million euros in funding. Out of 969 applications, the European Commission selected 68 startups, giving them access to grants and equity investments totaling 411 million euros. We congratulate the team on this phenomenal success!
