Under the patronage of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection, pre-selected specialists and managers meet the owners and top decision-makers of leading family businesses from all over Germany. Companies such as dm, Kärcher, Müller and Würth use the career day specifically to get to know committed young talent.
The "Family Business Careers Day" is regarded as one of the most important recruiting and networking events for family businesses, which provide around two thirds of jobs in Germany. The aim is to counteract the shortage of skilled workers through direct exchange and sustainable networking. Family businesses are often characterized by flat hierarchies, a high level of personal responsibility and a strong sense of corporate social responsibility. Students, graduates, young professionals and professionals from all disciplines are particularly targeted, with a special focus on engineering, computer science and economics.
As a long-standing partner, the SCE will once again receive exclusive wildcards. To take advantage of these, interested parties simply enter "SCE" in the application form under the question "How did you hear about the event?". This eliminates the regular selection process and guarantees direct admission (as long as places are available).
