Interesting: The Netherlands, Greece and Great Britain are the most expensive travel countries. There, one night for four people costs more than 200€ on average during the peak season. The cheapest destination is Hungary with an average of less than 100€ per night for four people. For a cheap vacation by the sea, Croatia, Denmark and Germany are recommended. The popular regions in Spain, France and Italy move cost-wise all in the midfield.
Flexible travel pays off
Who can plan its travel dates flexibly and in September instead of in August travels, can save in the warm regions in Croatia, Portugal or France up to 50% for the vacation house rent. The prices in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and especially in Finland are relatively constant.

The data refer in each case to the average price per night for a week's vacation for a vacation home for 4 people in 2015. The prices for the high season were determined for the week from 01 to 08 August, and those for the low season from 19 to 26 September 2015.
