The Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship supports the innovation competition as a cooperation partner. The solution approach that is most convincing is awarded the Innovation Prize. Together with the entrepreneurship centers of the Munich universities and colleges, we help with the implementation phase and offer the award winners suitable support: depending on the specific needs and suitability, varying from coaching discussions or participation in thematic workshops to participation in an entrepreneurship program.
The Challenges 2023 are:
- Motivating people to use rainwater in a climate-friendly way.
- Healthy in old age: digitalization of a supply and care network
- Expanding Munich's places with digital innovations
- Digital implementation of the zonal diesel driving ban, and
- Text and the City - Text Mining in Urban Development
More information about the challenges and the application can be found at: https://stadt.muenchen.de/infos/innovationswettbewerb.html.
The Innovation Award honors the proposed solutions with the greatest potential for implementation and realization. It is endowed with 10,000 euros for each winning team. In addition, the winners will have the opportunity to implement and further develop their submitted ideas in cooperation with the city administration and to test them in practice. For this co-creation phase, up to another 15,000 euros are available as a grant for contributions in kind.
Taking part is worthwhile: all finalists who present their proposed solution to the jury will receive recognition for their participation in the competition in the amount of 1,000 euros as well as a free ticket to the Munich Startup Festival, which will take place at Backstage Munich on July 19, 2023.
