Would you like to get a taste of the international startup scene, collaborate with talented individuals from Bavaria and Israel, and work on real-world innovation projects at leading companies? Then the Bavaria Israel Partnership Accelerator (BIPA) is the perfect program for you.

From October 12 to December 17, 2026, BIPA will bring together students and young professionals from Bavaria and Israel in interdisciplinary teams to solve technological and entrepreneurial challenges in fields such as AI, smart mobility, medtech, Industry 4.0, and IT security. You won’t be working on a fictional case study, but on real-world challenges faced by international companies and public institutions—guided by experienced mentors from the business world and the startup ecosystem.

Since its founding in 2015, BIPA has brought together over 300 participants and more than 50 corporate partners. The program combines entrepreneurial thinking, technological innovation, and intercultural collaboration in a unique international accelerator format.

Working in interdisciplinary and multinational teams, participants develop innovative solutions to specific challenges in areas such as Industry 4.0, the Internet of Things, automotive and smart mobility, healthcare and medtech, IT security, products and services, and public services. They are supported throughout the program by experienced mentors from the business world and the startup ecosystem.

The program consists of three phases

  • Kick-off workshop in Munich (October 12–16, 2026): An intensive introduction to open innovation, teamwork, and addressing business challenges.
  • Acceleration Phase (October 20–December 13, 2026): Virtual collaboration in international teams with regular mentoring sessions and online collaboration.
  • Final Workshop & Results Presentation in Israel (December 14–17, 2026): Completion of the project work, presentation of the developed solutions to the corporate partners, and insights into the Israeli startup ecosystem.

The program is designed to be easily compatible with academic studies or a full-time job. Participants not only expand their technical and entrepreneurial skills but also build valuable international contacts and gain insights into the innovation processes of globally active companies.

The Bavaria Israel Partnership Accelerator is organized by the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE) in collaboration with OTH Regensburg and Tech7 in Beer Sheva (Israel). The program is funded by the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development, and Energy, as well as other partners.
