The summit is aimed at start-ups as well as representatives from business, science, the public sector, NGOs and innovation promotion. The focus is on the topics of mobility, energy and health as well as the question of how cross-border cooperation and European innovation partnerships can be shaped in concrete terms.
Participants can expect a varied program with thematic panels and workshops on innovation, entrepreneurship, mobility, energy and health. The program will be complemented by pitch sessions for start-ups as well as matchmaking and networking activities. The aim is to facilitate new contacts between start-ups, investors, institutions and other stakeholders in the European innovation ecosystem and to develop joint project ideas and consortia for future collaborations.
A particular focus is on the integration of innovative startups from the participating regions of Bavaria, Norte (Portugal), Northwest Romania, Tuzla Canton and Castilla y León (Spain). Mobility grants to support travel and accommodation costs are also available for participating start-ups.
The summit is being organized as part of the European SystemEU project. The aim of the initiative is to strengthen the networking of regional innovation ecosystems and build sustainable European innovation partnerships.
