The Open Call is aimed at a young generation of creative professionals in Germany, from students to self-employed professionals to founders, who want to get to know the French creative scene in a German-French tandem and gain a foothold in France with an idea, a project or a company.
As part of the international program, creative people from Germany and France are linked in tandems at the various locations of the Goethe-Institut in France and accompanied over a period of one year. The intended collaboration in the tandem can range from targeted networking, peer-to-peer exchange and knowledge building to the development of a joint project. In addition to financial support of €5,000 per tandem, participants benefit from personal mentoring, interdisciplinary networking meetings with established players in the Franco-German creative industries, and events in several French cities.
Interested parties from Germany can apply until March 30, 2023. In a second step, based on the profiles of the selected participants from Germany, the respective tandem partners in France will be selected.
