With this award, BayStartUP recognizes particularly compelling business concepts from technology-oriented industries. The first phase of the competition focuses on the business idea, customer value, and validation of the solution. This year’s competition set a new record with 205 participating teams. Among the ten award-winning startups is micro factory 3D Solutions GmbH, an SCE alumni startup.
micro factory is developing an integrated solution for the digital manufacturing of medical products. The system automates the entire 3D printing process—from printing to cleaning to post-processing—within a closed system. This reduces manual steps and allows manufacturing processes to be scaled efficiently.
The Munich Business Plan Competition is one of the most established startup competitions in Germany. For many years, BayStartUP has been supporting founders in developing viable business models and providing access to experienced entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts. The competition is structured in three sequential phases and supports teams in continuously refining their market strategy, financing, and scaling plans.
In addition to micro factory, other innovative teams from the fields of medical technology, biotechnology, robotics, quantum technology, and energy were recognized in the first phase of the competition. The wide range of topics represented by the winners once again demonstrates the innovative strength of the startup ecosystem in Southern Bavaria.
More information on all the teams can be found here.
We warmly congratulate the entire micro factory team on this success and look forward to everything that lies ahead.
