Topic of the evening: Dynamic Innovation
The focus was on the Dynamic Innovation approach developed at the SCE - a holistic way of successfully designing innovation projects in companies. The approach sees innovation as a dynamic, adaptable process and combines creative freedom with methodical structure. In addition to technological feasibility, the focus is also on team dynamics, systemic thinking and financial and social impact.
The model was developed in collaboration with the VDMA and offers practical guidance for managing innovation projects and in co-creation formats between companies and start-ups, especially for complex industries.
Start-up pitches and workshop
After a brief welcome and round of introductions, the start-ups COBY Coping Buddy, Bloom GmbH and micro factory presented their business models in compact pitches and provided insights into their current developments.
In the mini-workshop that followed, Prof. Dr. Klaus Sailer and Lars Schepp introduced the dynamic innovation approach. Participants were given a structured overview of the key principles of the model and were able to take away initial ideas for their own innovation projects.
Exchange in the community
During the subsequent discussion over food and drinks, the topic was explored in greater depth and new contacts were made. The discussions once again demonstrated the added value of the SCE Friends & Fellows Community as a platform for networking, knowledge transfer and collaboration between start-ups, companies and experts.
