SCE congratulates its alumni start-up Tangany on winning second place in the Growth/Later Stage category at this year's FinTech Germany Award 2025! At the award ceremony, CFO Heinrich Polke accepted the award on behalf of the entire team. Founded in 2019, Tangany manages blockchain-based digital assets and offers a white-label solution for the secure storage of cryptographic keys. This technology enables financial institutions and companies to securely integrate digital assets such as Ethereum or Bitcoin without having to build their own complex infrastructure.
Tangany recently attracted attention with a Series A financing round of over 10 million euros. The company now manages over 700,000 customer accounts with a total value of more than 3 billion euros and attaches great importance to trustworthiness. To this end, it acquired a BaFin license as a crypto custodian early on and is now aiming for a full MiCA license in view of European regulations, while at the same time further expanding its partnerships with established financial institutions.
Before its foundation, Tangany was able to benefit from professional advice, coaching and infrastructure as part of SCE Incubation. Sounds exciting? Find out more here
