XR Experience Day 2023 - Review

More than 20 VR and AR partners from industry and education presented their innovative solutions on May 11 as part of the XR Experience Day 2023 at HM Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences and the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship. Students and professors from all faculties as well as interested members of the public could simply come to Lothstr. 64 and try out the diverse applications for themselves. The technologies on display included applications from the fields of Health, Industry and Education. In parallel, short impulse lectures and in-depth workshops were held.

Extended Reality (XR) is an umbrella term that encompasses Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR) and future immersive technologies. Because of its cross-industry applications, XR has great potential to add value to both industry and education, with the goal of motivating students and educators to explore and use these new technologies in the classroom as well as in the context of innovation.

At the same time, XR is already a medium with which inspiring learning experiences can be created and study content can be taught immersively."
