The International Founders Award 2025, which was presented in Frankfurt this year, honors entrepreneurs with a migration background who are making a positive social and economic impact in Germany through their work. Puray was able to prevail against strong competition from more than 80 applications.
Puray team member Erick Daniel Pano Paniagua described the moment of receiving the award as particularly moving:
"I had the privilege of sharing the stage with several international founders of such impactful start-ups. Seeing this vibrant community really touched me. Not only do migrants make up a large part of the skilled workforce in Germany, but we also bring perspectives, new ideas and in some cases even investment from outside.
Puray was also able to impress in the Generation-D competition, which promotes social entrepreneurial ideas in the early stages of development, and achieved 3rd place. The team impressed the jury and audience with its vision of more sustainable and safer medical care worldwide. The final took place at Brainlab in Munich and was attended by a large number of committed partners, jury members and supporters. The organizers highlighted the extraordinary social relevance of the Puray solution and emphasized the "real social impact" that the startup achieves.
