With its "Emotional Tech for Children" approach, Coby aims to combine technology, empathy and everyday help. Her interactive cuddly toy supports children with chronic illnesses, ADHD or family stress through privacy-compliant AI interactions. Parents are also actively involved in the process.
In the interview, David emphasizes the importance of the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE) and Munich University of Applied Sciences:
"We received enormously valuable support and mentoring (including from Professor Sebastian Dünnebeil) with the launch and advice via the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship, the joint development of the EXIST application with Munich University of Applied Sciences, the valuable support from the Munich Impact Incubator and the additional funding from AI+Munich."
Coby was supported by the SCE with the EXIST start-up grant and has already received awards such as the Strascheg Award and the Munich Impact Startup Award.
