Digital participation - Start-up League Alumni enna receives million euro funding

Go back

enna wants to make the Internet possible for everyone. Thanks to the haptic operating concept, even people without digital literacy, especially seniors, can access services such as video telephony, digital content or information from the Internet. Now, our start-up certificate alumni was able to close the seed financing round with a seven-digit amount. The lead investor of the round is the Osnabrück-based family office zwei.7, which is backed by entrepreneur Karsten Wulf. The SCE congratulates very warmly on this renewed success.

zwei.7 provides growth capital for venture companies and is a partner to SMEs in matters of corporate succession and growth financing. The technology company TQ Group, Wayra Deutschland (investment arm of the telecommunications group Telefónica) and existing investors also participated in the investment. The financing round was accompanied by the business law firm ARQIS led by Prof. Dr. Christoph von Einem.

So far, enna has been funded by business angels such as Markus C. Müller (CEO nui care and former European head of Blackberry).

"People make the difference. We were more than enthusiastic about enna's professional team as well as the future potential of the market!"

says Karsten Wulf, co-founder of buw Holding and shareholder of family office two.7.

The fresh capital is to flow on the one hand into the expansion of the production and the team, on the other hand into marketing measures in time for the market launch before Christmas.

enna was founded in mid-2020 by Jakob Bergmeier, Tim Haug and Moritz Kutschera. The solution consists of the enna Dock and a standard tablet running the enna app. enna is operated via cards that are placed on the dock and thus trigger the corresponding command in the app. So if grandma or grandpa wants to video chat with their granddaughter, they don't have to call up Zoom - instead, they place the card labeled "Call Julia" on the dock. The cards can be ordered, customized or edited by family members via a second app.
