While studying business administration at Munich University of Applied Sciences, he also took part in courses at the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE). He remembers that, in addition to learning the basics of problem solving, innovation and corporate strategy, he gained the crucial inspiration to develop and implement his own ideas:
"This experience was the foundation for my desire to become an entrepreneur. The experience at SCE helped me to see entrepreneurship as a viable path."
He founded his startup WorkerHero in 2021 out of frustration with traditional, outdated recruitment processes. His new platform uses AI to efficiently connect and place blue-and-grey-collar workers. Today, the company boasts 70,000 registered users and 200 partner companies, including Telekom, HelloFresh and BayWa. They closed their Series A financing round in September 2024 with 4.6 million euros. Fischer wants to use the funds to further improve the AI of its platform and thus also enable international specialists to enter the world of work. The SCE congratulates WorkerHero on this great success!
