Porsche takes over FAZUA completely

Go back

After Porsche had already joined FAZUA in February of this year and acquired 20 percent of the Munich-based e-bike pioneers, Porsche is now taking over 100 percent of the SCE Aluni start-up. Porsche is thus further expanding its eBike expertise and emphasizes in the Porsche press release on the FAZUA acquisition the "particularly light(er) and compact drive system(s) for eBikes".

The amount of the acquisition is unknown. Here to a recent interview with FAZUA Co-Founder Fabian Reuter in the Süddeutsche Zeitung (without paywall).

The Stuttgart-based sports car manufacturer now wants to make greater use of this know-how in the attractive and fast-growing e-bike market.

About FAZUA FAZUA, [fà]-[zuà]! - Bavarian for "Drive to!" FAZUA GmbH specializes in innovative, compact drive technologies and concepts for aesthetic, agile and lightweight e-bikes.
