The company offers an app in which users can organize their own contracts, for example for electricity, gas or insurance. Users connect their bank account to the app, which then recognizes the individual contracts. Wechselgott advertises automatic contract switching and acts as a broker.
As a new investor, Fonds Finanz, Germany's largest broker pool and a known quantity in the insurance market, has stepped in, as Finance Forward reports. Volksbank Mittelhessen have also entered into a cooperation with the start-up.
"We are convinced that the young fintech will quickly gain further market share with its sophisticated, digital solution. For Volksbank Mittelhessen, the company WechselGott is therefore a highly attractive investment, from which we expect a lot in the future," says our CEO Dr. Lars Witteck on the latest cooperation and investment in Wechselgott.
With the goal of optimizing the insurance change Wechselgott was founded in 2019 by Werner Kräutlein in Leipzig. Prior to that, the startup consulting alumni was in the startup consulting department of the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship.
