Better ingredients that cultivate the future
cellva is a Brazilian startup developing cultivated pork fat. We observe companies looking for protein, carbohydrates and dairy alternative solutions, but only a few players are developing solutions for the ingredient that makes food taste better: fat.
Our fat cultivation process requires only a small sample of animal tissue, collected painlessly, without discomfort and without slaughter, only once. The cells that have the highest nutritional performance are selected to be part of cellva’s biobank, which will serve as a source for application in nutrient solutions for cell culture, using proprietary plant-based solutions. We aim to supply a better and healthier pork fat to different industries (meat, beauty and confectionary) and solve ESG and animal cruelty issues of the actual fat supply chain.
