Energiewäsche is building a washing machine for private households that is perfectly tailored to the requirements of the German energy transition and climate protection and not only offers 70% electricity savings compared to today's appliances, but is also optimized to run on the highest possible proportion of photovoltaic and wind power. Initially conceived as a high-end product for a particularly environmentally conscious target group, our long-term aim is to establish a new technical standard for the entire washing machine market - one that has the potential to save around the annual electricity generation of a medium-sized coal-fired power plant nationwide.
