About
Omegga enables the detection of the sex of chicken embryos through its non-invasive and cost-effective technology based on spectral analysis before the seventh day of incubation - when the sensory perception of the chicken embryo is not yet developed. In Germany alone, Omegga's technology has the potential to save up to 45 million male chicks from being killed each year and can thus help solve a major ethical challenge in the layer industry. From 2022, chick killing will be banned by law in Germany. The Omegga technology offers a legally compliant alternative for German laying hen farms that are under pressure.
