MUST is a two-day event, bringing together cutting edge science and technology start-ups with industry leaders and investors, initiated by Munich’s top university centers for entrepreneurship. It is this spot, where revolutionary ideas become business reality and extraordinary deals are made – in one of the world’s most promising cities, Munich.
The MUC SUMMIT GmbH was initiated in August 2015 by Munich's top university centers for entrepreneurship: German Entrepreneurship GmbH, Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship gGmbH and UnternehmerTUM GmbH. The MUC SUMMIT GmbH fosters the relationship between international top-level start-ups and leading German technology companies. By doing so, we want to strengthen the position of Munich as international technology hub and to give the stakeholders the opportunity to extend their own network by being part of the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
As the centers for innovation and business creation the German Entrepreneurship GmbH, Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship gGmbH and UnternehmerTUM GmbH aim to guide and support start-ups and established technology corporates when founding successful businesses. With an entrepreneurial mindset and educational resources, the centers support the establishment of start-ups and the network with leading industries. This includes guidance from idea development to innovation, incubation, formulation of pioneering business models and outreach activities focused on supporting the regional, national and international ecosystem.
Participants
Start-ups. Start-ups with a focus on science and technology, who have their initial funding secured and want to do business in Munich and/or Bavaria, come to meet decision-makers from matching industries.
Investors. Venture Capital and Business Angels who bring their networks and are looking forward to making new contacts with promising entrepreneurs.
Multipliers. Active community members and supporters of the ecosystem.
Industry. Industry leaders from Munich and Bavaria who are looking for innovations and seeking matching start-ups worldwide for business contracts and investments.
