The prize was a free presence in the Deutsche Bahn pop-up store at Berlin's main station from the beginning of January to mid-March 2024, office space at DB mindbox and €25,000 on top. Co-creation at its best. For Michael Hack, SCE, member of the top-class jury, as well as the other jury participants, the decision-making was anything but easy and became a real head-to-head race.
Nevernot, a Berlin-based femcare start-up launches the first soft tampon. The Repair Rebels completely rethink the important topic of repairing clothes and thus contribute to more sustainability. Michael Hack had a reunion with the Munich-based health and beauty start-up "skinmade," which emerged in 2014 from a co-creation connection between the SCE and the Fraunhofer Institute. The start-up produces individualized skin creams on a scientific basis within about 15min in an on-site "microfactory".
The winner of the main prize was Edurino, another Munich-based start-up that brings digital learning content to life with the help of a tablet app and colorful figurines. Congratulations to the winner Edurino, and we also wish the startups nevernot, Repair Rebels and skinmade all the best and many more fruitful co-creation opportunities!
