Omegga is an SCE alumni startup founded in 2022 by Katharina Hesseler together with Till Nöllgen and Paul Günther. Since then, the team has grown to over 20 employees. Following a 2.4 million euro EIC grant in 2024, a 10 million euro funding round with IQ Capital, Capnamic, and the EIC Fund took place in early 2026—with the goal of doubling the team’s size.
In an interview, Katharina describes starting a business as “a marathon, not a sprint”—she emphasizes that a strong team and taking care of your own health are crucial for getting through even the toughest times.
