About the Social X Factor:
We firmly believe that entrepreneurial approaches can play a decisive role in the further development of education – whether in early childhood, adulthood, or old age. Our goal is not only to promote innovative educational models, but also to strengthen the educational landscape in the long term and improve access to knowledge and social participation. Interdisciplinary teams work to identify challenges that hinder the education system and individual educational pathways and develop innovative solutions to overcome these obstacles.
At the end of the block seminar week, the students' innovative ideas were presented to the public at a festive event in the X-Bau at Munich University of Applied Sciences on July 30, 2025. The guests and participants of the closing event were able to award Impact Dollars to their favorites. Here are the winners of the SXF25:
1st place (Coach: Peter Dürr)
Play the System:
At the age of 10-16, educational decisions are made with far-reaching consequences. The complex education system often leads to confusion and wrong decisions. Our aim is to teach children about all the possibilities of the education system in a playful way and to promote reflective and sustainable career decisions.
Place 2 (Coach: Daniel Ittstein)
Anchor:
What if possibilities don't liberate, but block? When everything seems possible but nothing is tangible, you need people who listen, sort things out and provide support.
3rd place - Undecided (Coach: Hanna Moser)
Sprout:
Many people don't find the knowledge that really takes them forward - because education is often inaccessible, standardized or too theoretical. Sprout connects people who want to teach and learn - directly, flexibly and personally. The result is a platform for individual further education that goes beyond traditional educational paths - open, diverse and needs-based.
3rd place - Undecided (Coach: Georg Zollner)
We-Tree:
Parents' attention to their children is the foundation for early childhood development. We give parents and children daily impulses to promote time together and the development of the children.
We would like to congratulate all participants and award winners on these outstanding innovations and achievements! Together, we are making the future a little bit better, bit by bit.
All participants also received coveted WildCards for the Strascheg Award, which is endowed with prize money totaling 30,000 euros. Do you have an innovative idea yourself? Then apply for the Strascheg Award, the ideas competition organized by Munich University of Applied Sciences and the SCE, by 12.09.2025 . We look forward to your ideas!
