Startup enna in the Süddeutsche Newspaper

Go back

IoT startup enna makes it into both the print and digital editions of the Süddeutsche Zeitung with a full-page article. The team has developed a card reader that makes it easier for senior citizens and people with limited digital skills to use the internet.

enna was founded in mid-2020 by Jakob Bergmeier, Tim Haug and Moritz Kutschera. The solution consists of their enna dock and a standard tablet running the enna app. Personalized cards such as "Call Julia" or "Watch crime scene" can be placed on the dock, which then execute the corresponding command on the tablet. So if grandma or grandpa want to video chat with their granddaughter, they don't have to create a Zoom room, but simply place the corresponding card on the dock.

This idea has already brought enna a seven-figure investment amount in a seed financing round and a partnership with o2 Telefónica in the past. They were also part of Batch #4 of the SCE Incubation Program. Find out more here.

We congratulate the enna team on this success and wish them all the best for the future! Click here for the Süddeutsche online article about enna (readable in full with SZ Plus).
