The Precelerator is the community space for innovation and entrepreneurship, prototyping and new technologies for all students and members of the University of Applied Sciences Munich.
Do you want to let off steam creatively and finally apply what you have learned in theory during your studies?
In the Precelerator you will find inspiration for the realization of your ideas. We are offering workshops and digital tools, individual workstations for focused work and co-working rooms for teamwork. Thanks to the creative power here in the W-building (Lothstraße 21) of the HM, there is something for everyone.
Do you think that you lack the skills to actually create something?
We have a variety of intro courses in different areas such as hardware, software and entrepreneurship to get you ready for your planned project. You can expect workshops on topics like 3D printing, wood and metal work, Internet of Things (IoT), coding and so much more. If you want to go a step further, we will show you how to turn your hobby into a profession with courses on business modeling and business start-up.
Are you looking for motivated people to help you develop your idea?
There are 18,000 students at the HM. It would be laughable if we couldn't find anyone who is as motivated as you are. Write us what you have in mind on our project wall to present your project and find team members.
Do you want to experiment with the latest technology gadgets?
In addition to state-of-the-art equipment (3D printers, high-end computers, film studio, VR glasses, etc.), we offer personalized assistance from technical experts who will advise you on entrepreneurship, digital prototypes and manufacturing technology.
Would you like to get a taste of start-up air?
We are direct neighbors of the university's incubator. This is where HM's start-ups sit and pitch their ideas and projects frequently and share stories about their successes and failures.
What does the Precelerator offer in Corona times?
