There is currently no uniform standard for the documentation of wounds in medicine. To date, wounds have only been documented in two dimensions and under varying conditions, meaning that important information is lost. With our new approach to wound documentation, we want to offer doctors and researchers the opportunity to depict wounds three-dimensionally and thus in a standardized way. In this way, we enable fast, reproducible and objective wound analysis.
