At the award ceremony in Stuttgart, co-founders Christina Weber and Eduardo Romero Borrero accepted the awards and prize money totaling €15,000. They thanked the Klee family, Dr. Hans Haindl, the DGMBT and the jury on LinkedIn.

Puray is developing a medical catheter that is disinfected with UVC light during use. This means it can neutralize all known viruses and bacteria - including multi-resistant germs - and is also harmless to patients and medical staff. With this idea, the Puray team has already received the Health-i-Award 2022, the Signal Iduna Prize, as well as EXIST and FLÜGGE funding and was part of Batch #6 of the SCE Incubation Program.
