Exploring Transformations in Entrepreneurship Education
The 3E Conference 2025 aims to investigate and address three pivotal dimensions in Entrepreneurship Education (EE) in response to the evolving global, environmental, and institutional demands of the 21st century. We invite scholarly contributions that will lay the groundwork for future research, share best practices, and ignite critical debates on the following themes:
1. Responsibility in Entrepreneurship Education
Inspired by recent discussions on responsible entrepreneurship, this theme explores:
- How responsibility can be fundamentally integrated into EE.
- Theoretical definitions and methodological implementations of responsibility within EE.
- Effective theories, methods, and practices for embedding responsibility in entrepreneurial education processes.
2. Systemic Approaches in Entrepreneurship Education
Systems Thinking presents holistic views and innovative thinking in entrepreneurial processes. This theme delves into:
- The specific value that a systemic perspective offers to EE.
- Teaching practices, philosophies, and designs that foster systemic competencies.
- The role of Systems Thinking in both social and traditional entrepreneurship education.
3. Democratizing Entrepreneurship Education
Challenging the notion of exclusivity in entrepreneurial capabilities, this theme emphasizes inclusivity:
- Expanding EE to encompass all students and learners.
- Opportunities and risks associated with broader approaches to EE.
- Research that aids in the understanding and execution of inclusive entrepreneurship education practices.
Innovative Conference Format
The 3E Conference 2025 sets itself apart with its unique and engaging format, creating a new paradigm for academic events. The conference focuses on addressing problems and questions rather than presenting solutions. The format is unplugged, no power point presentations allowed, round table discussions that participants have read beforehand. Further, the keynote speakers are chosen from among the participants rather than being invited outsiders.
Who Should Attend?
The conference welcomes:
- Entrepreneurship educators and researchers.
- Educators from primary, secondary, and higher education institutions.
- Practitioners involved in entrepreneurship support programs, including coaches, trainers, policy makers, and program managers.
- Representatives from local and international organizations with a vested interest in EE.
Program and Venue
The 3E Conference program includes three interactive days primarily held at the Hochschule München and its Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship, near Munich's city center. Attendees will have the chance to immerse themselves in Munich's entrepreneurial ecosystem through pre- and post-conference events. Munich offers a wealth of cultural activities, including museums, local pubs, and relaxing walks in the English Garden or along the Isar River.
