Kicking off the week we let our students race through Munich in a city rally, so the international students could get to know Bavaria's capital and the hometurf of the SCE. In the afternoon we introduced our topic "Future of Food" with keynotes from (https://www.kmzerohub.com/home) KM Zero, Drink Innovation Campus and the FSIWS Food Startup Inkubator Weihenstephan. Many exciting inputs followed during the week, such as "Think and act like an entrepreneur" by Steve Gedeon Ryerson University and everything worth knowing about VC Funding by Assaf Shamia from G+D Ventures. In addition to these input sessions, the teams worked in international interdisciplinary teams on a business idea around our topic.
After an exhausting 6 days full of ups and downs on the teams' side, the final pitches in front of a jury took place on Saturday. The 9 teams presented many interesting business ideas ranging from new drinks to new community refrigerators. Afterwards, the three best ideas were awarded a prize by the jury. All in all, the bootcamp was a great success for the students.
Special thanks go to the coaches & experts who took time for the students during the week.
In particular: UCT Prague, Tecnocampus Barcelona, HM Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences & The Hague University of Applied Sciences
