Responsible entrepreneurs create a future worth living.

We see ourselves as a thought leader, enabler and well-connected partner for shaping an entrepreneurial future worth living through responsible entrepreneurship. We stand for an economy that actively, innovatively and responsibly addresses technological, social and environmental challenges. Entrepreneurship, innovation and co-creation are the keys to the change.

That is why we, as the Entrepreneurship Center of HM - Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences, together with our regional and international partners, offer educational and research programs in the field of entrepreneurship. Therefore we support start-ups from the idea to the market as well as innovation processes and the development of entrepreneurial personalities.

We want to motivate and empower people - young and old - to think and act entrepreneurially and responsibly. To this end, we accompany individuals on their entrepreneurial journey and promote innovation and entrepreneurship through interactive training programs, start-up support, research, regional and international projects with a variety of partners, as well as networking activities and events.

Klaus Sailer and Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences take first place in the Bavarian University Award for Entrepreneurship

At the award ceremony for the Bavarian University Prize for Entrepreneurship "MöglichMacher²³", Klaus Sailer as a personality and Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences (HM) as an institution were honored for the successful and ongoing transformation of HM into an internationally networked entrepreneurial university.

This year, for the first time, the "MöglichMacher²³ - Bavarian University Award for Entrepreneurship" was awarded for outstanding university achievements in the area of start-up support. The Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts, the vbw - Vereinigung der Bayerischen Wirtschaft e.V. (Bavarian Business Association) and Hochschule Bayern e.V. (Bavarian University of Applied Sciences) together with BayZiel - Bavarian Center for Innovative Teaching awarded the first prize to SCE Managing Director Prof. Dr. Klaus Sailer and Munich University of Applied Sciences with its Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship for the transformation of HM into an internationally networked entrepreneurial university.

memtime raises seven-figure Series A investment

SCE start-up Alumni memtime GmbH, formerly timeBro, which specializes in automatic time tracking software in the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) sector, has successfully closed a seven-figure Series A financing round. The round was led by BayBG as lead investor and Bayern Kapital as co-investor. Other investors include Gateway Ventures as well as renowned business angels such as Dr. Heinz Raufer, who has invested in Flixbus, among others, and Stephan Berendsen, who is already one of the existing investors, according to an article in VC Magazin.

Munich Startup about "Start for Future: Innovations for Europe".

Klaus Sailer, Managing Director SCE and Pavlina Vujović, Head of International Projects SCE in an interview at Munich Startup about "Start for Future: Innovations for Europe". As a Europe-wide cooperative, Start for Future (SFF) has been promoting collaboration between universities, startups and public organizations for two years. Klaus Sailer and Pavlina Vujović from the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE), one of the founding members, explain in an interview what the alliance wants to achieve in the European startup scene. Among other things, they address the importance of using collaborative synergies and creating added value through co-creation in order to be able to offer startups concrete support.

Real Project about AI solutions - HM students team develops plant well-being app "GardSens".

Reasons for more sustainability. HM students develop an app that keeps an eye on plant well-being. The app, GardSense, assists with plant care and automatically creates tasks for the community.
