We see ourselves as a thought leader, enabler and well-connected partner for shaping an entrepreneurial future worth living through responsible entrepreneurship. We stand for an economy that actively, innovatively and responsibly addresses technological, social and environmental challenges. Entrepreneurship, innovation and co-creation are the keys to a livable future and the change towards it.

Therefore, as the Entrepreneurship Center of HM - Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences, we offer educational and research programs in the field of entrepreneurship, support start-ups, innovation processes and the development of entrepreneurial personalities, and accompany young companies from the idea to the market.

We want to motivate and empower people - young and old - to think and act entrepreneurially and responsibly. To this end, we accompany individuals on their entrepreneurial journey and promote innovation and entrepreneurship through interactive training programs, start-up support, research, regional and international projects with a variety of partners, as well as networking activities and events.

Start-up alumni Noxon relieves back pain with smart textiles

What does relieving back pain have to do with smart clothing? A lot, explains founder Maria Neugschwender of the company Noxon: "Often, back pain cannot be clearly diagnosed. We are developing T-shirts that make it possible to collect live and long-term data on back pain from sufferers using printed electrodes. This enables more accurate conclusions about the causes of the pain and more individualized treatment."

CHINATIV closing event on 9.9. in Ismaning

The CHINATIV project is a China competence project funded by the BMBF. There are only 11 such projects in Germany and CHINATIV is the only one from Bavaria. Since October 2018, the project has been focusing on bilateral communication and exchange between Germany and China with a focus on creativity and innovation. At the end of the project, the CHINATIV team cordially invites you to the closing event. The occasion will also be used to celebrate the traditional Chinese Moon Festival together with German and Chinese participants.

herCAREER-Expo - Europe's leading trade fair for female careers

The herCAREER expo will take place from October 6 to 7, 2022 in Munich and is the first and only career and networking fair in Europe that takes into account all aspects of female careers, including the compatibility of job and family. The trade fair addresses women who are planning their entry or advancement into specialist or management careers - whether in an employment relationship or in the course of starting a business.

Florian S., Sebastian L. and Matthias H. (FK9 / DeepDive Alumnus) have won the Strascheg Award in category 3, Best Business Idea from Science & Practice, with their start-up "AgraCheck" in 2021. AgraCheck develops an information and comparison platform for smart farming technologies. Do you also have a great idea? Then let them convince you in the following interview to submit your idea to the Strascheg Award, the ideas competition of the Munich University of Applied Sciences and the SCE, and give your start-up story a jump-start.
