Among other things, Kilian Schmid initiated the participation in this competition, provided essential ideas and approaches, took care of the financing and helped to build and lead the large team. In his presentation, he will show what this competition is all about and will be able to give a first-hand account of the diverse and exciting experiences he has had.
He will also talk about how the technology that has been developed is progressing. As part of the international Start For Future program, he is currently working with his team and the SCE to create their startup, Metraspace, with which he hopes to help shape the mobility of the future. His goal is to build a tunnel infrastructure that can realize fast, safe, comfortable and sustainable transportation. This is only possible if rapid innovations can increase the speed of tunnel construction and reduce costs.
The Start for Future initiative, launched by SCE and HM, is a network of international universities and associated incubators that share their startups, partners and resources to educate entrepreneurial talent and create and accelerate high-potential startups.
