Three SCE Alumni start-ups have been nominated for the Innovation Award Bavaria 2024. We are keeping our fingers crossed for our Start-up League Alumni teams XenoPatch, cureVision and Optiwiser A.I. Solutions!

The Bavarian Innovation Prize is awarded by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs together with the Association of Bavarian Chambers of Crafts and the Association of Bavarian Chambers of Industry and Commerce. The prize is awarded to Bavarian companies whose product and process innovations as well as innovative technology-oriented services have already successfully established themselves on the market or whose market success is foreseeable.

The award recognizes the central importance of innovation for the development of Bavarian companies and Bavaria as a business location. The Bavarian Innovation Award was established in 2012 and is awarded every two years.
A total of three main prizes and up to four special prizes are awarded. These are honorary prizes that are not financially endowed. The prize consists of a certificate and a sculpture. In addition, each award winner will be portrayed in a short film, which will be shown during the award ceremony and subsequently given to the companies for promotional purposes.

Xeno Patch (formerly HEALYXZ) is a wearable and intelligent patch that relieves pain for people who suffer from injury-related or chronic intramuscular pain. Due to lack of movement and poor posture, approximately 1 in 5 people worldwide suffer from intramuscular pain. Xeno Patch has set itself the goal of giving these people back their quality of life by relieving their pain. All this happens without injections or expensive inpatient medical treatment. The therapy is based on soothing heat and cold, using easy-to-apply Xeno Patches that can be worn directly on the skin like a plaster. Xeno Patch can be regulated via a smartphone and perfectly integrated into everyday life.

This recognition is a significant milestone for our team and reinforces our mission to transform the field of thermotherapy with our revolutionary, wearable and precise technology. - Team XenoPatch
