Procedure & Contents

As a freshman (1), you have the opportunity to make a difference from day one.

For this purpose,"getSTARTed - Impact, Innovation, Your Studies and You" will take place for the third time in the summer semester 2023 in the form of a 2-day interactive and interdisciplinary workshop.

In this workshop you will develop your problem-solving skills, use your creativity and implement your ideas directly through practical prototyping. You will have the opportunity to meet and collaborate with like-minded first-year students from different faculties.

How can we contribute to the sustainable development of the city? Design ideas with other students on how you can make society and the future a little bit better.

The workshop is hands-on, varied and fun. You'll gain skills and the confidence to tackle any challenge. Whether you want to make a positive impact on the world or simply build your skills; this workshop is your opportunity to start.

Here you will learn in a fun and practical way important content that will be of great use to you in the further course of your studies but also in your later professional life - be it employed, self-employed or even as a founder:in your own start-up.

Morten Edzards joined the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship in spring 2015. He is a fulltime member of the SCE qualification team and the program manager of the Bavaria Israel Partnership Accelerator (BIPA). In this and other educational formats and workshops, he uses co-creation, innovation methods such as design thinking and real time innovation, and brings together national and international stakeholders. For several years, he accompanied Start-Up League teams as a member of the start-up support team at SCE, supervised EXIST applications and was responsible for the management of the incubator at the Munich University of Applied Sciences. Morten holds a Master's degree in Political Science and History from the University of Heidelberg and the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. The focus of his studies was Israel and the Middle East. During his studies and afterwards, he worked in a management consulting firm with a focus on change management.
