We are delighted to announce that our alumnus "COBY - The Coping Buddy" has been selected as one of the TOP 100 start-ups for the prestigious South Summit 2024. They beat more than 4500 competitors and will present their ideas in Madrid at the beginning of June.

The founders of Munich-based GreenTech start-up ChargeX, Michael Masnitza and Tobias Wagner, demonstrate how successful employer branding can work for start-ups. They share their knowledge in an interview with "starting-up".

From June 27th to 30th, 2024, the Forum of the Future at the Deutsches Museum in Munich will be the venue for the "Festival der Future". Organized by 1E9 in collaboration with the Deutsches Museum, the festival promises to provide a platform for innovative ideas in difficult times.

You are cordially invited to the Online DBI Day, the information event of our partner, the University of Aveiro, on May 24, 2024, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. At the Online DBI Day, those interested in the Doctor of Business Innovation (DBI) will receive an overview of the content and procedure of the cooperative part-time doctoral program offered by the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship together with the University of Aveiro (UA) in Portugal. For the fifth time, the startup hotspots of Munich, Cologne, Berlin and Hamburg selected their most innovative young companies in the "Startup Champs" competition. The motto of this year's edition was Fintech. A high-caliber jury of investors selected four regional winners and one overall winner from three startups from each of the leading German startup strongholds. The city winner for Munich was SCE alumnus Sub Capitals in the final of the pitch competition. The overall winner was Participayed from Hamburg.

Start-up League alumni Noxon wins the "Oskar Partner der Praxis 2024" award at the Oskar von Miller ceremony at Munich University of Applied Sciences. The SCE congratulates Noxon on this great milestone!

On Thursday 16th & Friday 17th of May 2024, the Start For Future Summit 2024: The Athenian Nexus is coming to Athens and to the Athens Conservatoire, bringing together all stakeholders interested and involved in entrepreneurship and innovation. The Munich Startup Award is entering a new round: the "Best Munich Startup" will once again be sought at the 2nd Munich Startup Festival on July 17, 2024 at Backstage. Selected startups will compete against each other in two semi-finals of the pitch competition at the festival and the audience will decide who moves on to the final. A top-class jury will then select the winning team of the Munich Startup Award. This team receives 10,000 euros in prize money and can call itself "Munich Startup of the Year".
