SCE and EIT Manufacturing collaborate

Entrepreneurship does not come natural to everybody. Yet, the skillset can be learned. Teaching institutions play an important role in attracting young people to innovation and entrepreneurship. Through its Education activities, EIT Manufacturing seeks to empower Europe with people who are capable and inspired to shape the future of manufacturing. In this regard, the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE) is exactly the right partner by providing opportunities to students. We are pleased to announce that EIT Manufacturing and SCE have joined forces and will be working together. Warm welcome to our new network partner!

"How to win Elon Musk's international design competition "Not-A-Boring-Competition"?" - Lecture on 03.05.

-this is the title of a lecture that Kilian Schmid will give next Tuesday (03.05.2022) at 5:30 p.m. as part of the digital VDI Tuesday Lectures of Faculty 03 of Mechanical, Automotive and Aeronautical Engineering at Munich University of Applied Sciences. Although Kilian Schmid is still studying at Munich University of Applied Sciences, he can already look back on a great success, winning the international tunnel construction competition "Not-A-Boring-Competition" in the USA from Elon Musk with the team TUM Boring. This is the follow-up event to the famous Hyperloop competitions, which attracted a lot of attention in Germany but also internationally - also because TUM emerged as the winner in each case. TUM was also the biggest player in the last competition. This success would not have been possible without Kilian Schmid and the numerous students from the Munich University of Applied Sciences who were active in leading positions and pushed the team forward. The SCE also supported the team. More info at https://www.boringcompany.com/
