Dear Alumni, many of you have associated an important part of your startup journey with the SCE — the first steps, first customers, first grant applications, valuable conversations, new contacts, or simply people who believed in your idea.

The Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship is once again participating in the Financial Times and Statista’s “Europe’s Leading Start-up Hubs” evaluation. A significant portion of the evaluation is based on feedback from founders and alumni who have personally experienced the SCE and its programs.

Experience International Innovation: Apply Now for BIPA 2026

Would you like to get a taste of the international startup scene, collaborate with talented individuals from Bavaria and Israel, and work on real-world innovation projects at leading companies? Then the Bavaria Israel Partnership Accelerator (BIPA) is the perfect program for you.

From October 12 to December 17, 2026, BIPA will bring together students and young professionals from Bavaria and Israel in interdisciplinary teams to solve technological and entrepreneurial challenges in fields such as AI, smart mobility, medtech, Industry 4.0, and IT security. You won’t be working on a fictional case study, but on real-world challenges faced by international companies and public institutions—guided by experienced mentors from the business world and the startup ecosystem.

30,000€ for the best ideas: Apply now for the Strascheg Idea Award 2026!

The Strascheg Ideas Award is back for another round! For our ideas competition, which offers a total prize pool of 30,000€, we are looking for innovative business ideas and promising startup projects. Students, professors, staff, and alumni of HM can submit their ideas online in various categories until September 13, 2026. Social X Factor 2026: Students Develop Ideas for the Skilled Trades of the Future

How can the skilled trades remain viable for the future while also making a positive contribution to society? A total of 91 students from HM Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences explored this question at the Social X Factor 2026. As part of the interdisciplinary “Real Projects” course offered by the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE), they developed innovative social entrepreneurship concepts centered on the theme “The Crafts of the Future” —ranging from AI-supported knowledge preservation and exoskeletons to new approaches for recruiting young talent and promoting sustainability.

Geniefy Receives the exist Startup Grant

We warmly congratulate Geniefy on receiving the exist startup grant!

SCE Incubation alumni Geniefy develops an AI operations layer for property management companies. The solution builds on existing management systems and automates communication via phone, WhatsApp, and, in the future, other channels. Geniefy supports complete workflows, from logging a request to coordinating with service providers to documenting the process in the system. This enables property management companies to grow faster, while all parties involved can continue to communicate through their usual channels. At the same time, the team is working on EU data residency requirements and conducting its own AI research to ensure that AI can be used safely and reliably in property management.

On July 15 and 16, 2026, the innovation and tech community will gather at TechDays Munich 2026 in the Werksviertel.
