SOCIAL X-FACTOR 2024 - Democracy in a technologized society

Every year at the end of the summer semester, around 120 students from various faculties come together in this special Real Project to work on a social challenge in interdisciplinary teams in a block seminar. In just one week, they develop innovative ideas and functioning prototypes. This semester's topic is DEMOCRACY IN A TECHNOLOGIZED SOCIETY . Register now for the final event on 24.07. at 6 pm!

Apply now until 24.07.2024 with your start-up for the Start?Zuschuss! grant from Gründerland Bayern and secure 50% of the eligible expenses for your company for a funding period of one year, up to a maximum of €36,000. Start?Zuschuss! aims to provide uncomplicated support for founders in the initial phase. Do you need help applying for funding? Then get in touch at gf@sce.de and follow in the footsteps of our SCE alumni baind and Noxon, both of whom we were able to help achieve successful funding last year.

Symposium "Thinking sustainability further!" on 04.07.2024

The symposium "Sustainability Thinking Ahead" will take place on 04.07.2024 at Munich University of Applied Sciences. The discussion workshop deals with the further development of the Quality Seal for Sustainable Buildings (QNG) for residential buildings and serves as a forum for exchange between networks in the field of sustainability with a focus on new and existing buildings.

3E Conference 2024 - Two Nominations at 3E Conference for SCE

Amsterdam, The Netherlands – May 17, 2024 – At the ECSB's 3E conference in Amsterdam, Johanna Kobilke, Dr. Dana Schultchen and Dr. Audrey Stolze received the 'Runner Up for best Practitioner Development Workshop', while SCE-associated professors Steve Gedeon (Toronto Metropolitan University) and Florian Huber (Hochschule Ingolstadt) received the Best PDW award. 

The Start for Future researchers Colette Henry, Slavica Singer, Ester Bernado, Barbara Gabriel, Robertt Valente, Kare Moberg and Sabrina Tomassi were nominated for the best research paper award for the paper: "Creating playful, responsible, and impactful entrepreneurship education models".
