exist start-up grant for KautionsKauz - digital innovation for the rental market

We congratulate our startup team KautionsKauz on receiving the exist start-up grant.

KautionsKauz is a digital solution at the interface of PropTech and FinTech that is rethinking the German rental market. The team is developing a completely digital all-in-one platform that bundles all common rental deposit solutions on one interface: classic deposit account, rental guarantee and the innovative KautionsKauz depot.

DTOXIFY receives the exist start-up grant

Congratulations to our alumnus startup DTOXIFY on receiving the exist start-up grant! After winning the Strascheg Award 2024, this is another major milestone for the team.

DTOXIFY is developing an AI-supported, context-sensitive solution for moderating comments, e.g. on social networks. The self-learning technology recognizes hate and toxic content with near-human accuracy and adapts to the individual rules and values of communities. The aim is to protect brands, people and freedom of expression in digital spaces. The idea is based on the HSDetector research project by Munich University of Applied Sciences and Ippen Digital.

SCE Annual Report 2025

2025 was a year full of milestones, new impetus and strong partnerships for the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship. In this annual report, we take a look at the most important developments, programs and successes of the past year - from international rankings and new educational formats to significant investments in our start-up alumni.

SCE alumni secure financing round for Silvernova

The SCE would like to congratulate its alumni Felix Füssel, Lukas Ballweg and Nils Lißner on the successful financing round of their second start-up Silvernova. With its AI application for complex proceedings, the legal tech company is now one of the fastest growing providers on the market and is already used by over 170 law firms.

This is not the first entrepreneurial milestone for the founding team: Felix, Lukas and Nils were already part of SCE Incubation in 2022 with their previous startup Silberfluss. As part of the program, they successfully secured the exist start-up grant, laying the foundation for their further entrepreneurial development. They talk about their experiences:

"For us, SCE Incubation two years ago was the decisive springboard for all further start-up steps and the application for the EXIST start-up grant. [...] We can highly recommend the program!"

On January 23, 2026, the first edition of TEDxHM was the first official TEDx event to take place at Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences! Under the motto "Learning for a Responsible Life", students, lecturers and external guests came together in the Falk F. Strascheg Lecture Hall to discuss questions of responsible learning, personal development and social impact. The SCE was there for you live in front of and behind the scenes.

The Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE) at Munich University of Applied Sciences is looking for committed female founders for the funding line exist Women. The program by the Federal Ministry for Economy and Energy is aimed at women interested in founding a company who want to hone their idea before the actual founding of the company and further develop their entrepreneurial personality.

SCE Alumni Startup .oles successfully completed the Kickstarter campaign for their innovative, capsule-less coffee machine at the end of the year. The idea, which is now over 150% funded, promises to make fully automatic coffee machines and annoying capsules or pods superfluous, with a compact, robust design that takes just 10 seconds to prepare an espresso.
