From July 2 to 5, 2026, the Deutsches Museum in Munich will once again become a gathering place for visionaries, innovators, and technology enthusiasts. As an ecosystem partner, the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE) is supporting the Festival of the Future 2026 and invites the SCE community to take part in the diverse program focusing on technology, science, innovation, and society.

The German Startup Monitor 2026 has launched: Founders across Germany are invited to participate in the country’s largest startup study through August 16. The Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE) supports the initiative of the Startup Association and calls on startups to share their experiences, challenges, and needs in order to highlight the interests of the startup ecosystem to policymakers, the business community, and the public.

The SCE is an official network partner of Bits & Pretzels 2026 and can offer its students an exclusive allocation of discounted tickets to Europe’s leading festival for founders, startups, and innovation.

Stadtsparkasse München is now inviting entrepreneurs to apply for the 2026 Munich Founder Award. The application period runs until August 2, 2026. The bank is seeking companies that actively shape and sustainably enrich Munich’s economy. The award is open to both startups and established companies.

Great success for the Munich-based energy and SCE Alumni startup Pionierkraft, which was honored with the German Innovation Award 2026 in the "Energy Solutions" category. The award went to PIONIERKRAFTwerk 3.0, a solution for the intelligent distribution of locally generated solar energy in apartment buildings. The award, presented by the German Design Council, recognizes innovations that combine technological progress with social relevance and practical benefits. The award ceremony took place on May 12, 2026 in Berlin.

The Munich-based start-up Omegga has successfully completed its seed financing round of 10 million euros. This provides the company with fresh capital to further develop its technology and scale it internationally.

On July 22, 2026, it's that time again: Backstage Munich will once again be the meeting place for Munich's start-up scene. The Munich Startup Festival brings together founders, investors, talents and networking enthusiasts from all over the city - and we from the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE) will of course be there again this year.

The EXIST Women program has started a new round! Once again this year, women interested in founding a company will receive valuable support to further develop their entrepreneurial skills and drive their start-up ideas forward. As part of the program funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), Munich University of Applied Sciences and the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE) provide intensive support to participants on their path to founding a company. In addition to individual support, the founders benefit from a strong network of experts, mentors and experienced start-up coaches.

23 April 2026 was the annual Girls'Day - Girls' Future Day at the Hochschule München and of course we from the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship were there again. Our aim was to take the girls into the world of entrepreneurship for a morning and show them how initial ideas and possible solutions emerge from problems.
