SYSTEMEU - Workshop and Ecosystem Meeting "Shaping European Innovation Together on April 28, 2026

The European innovation network SYSTEMEU is taking the next step: on April 28, 2026, the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE) and its partners are hosting a workshop and ecosystem meeting in Munich. The focus will be on the upcoming SYSTEMEU project call, which provides funding of up to 2.2 million euros per project. The aim of the event is to bring together stakeholders from start-ups, SMEs, universities and research institutions at an early stage and jointly initiate viable European innovation projects.

A warm welcome to the 34 inter/national startups in our Batch #15 of SCE Incubation! We look forward to supporting these innovative and exciting start-up projects over the next 6 months and to accompanying the founders on their individual start-up journey!

We offer the accepted early-stage startups in an incubation tailored to their phase: intensive coaching (SCE start-up consultants, mentors, startup alumni from the network), a workplace in the incubator as a start-up home, infrastructure with labs/workshops, prototyping budget, various specialist workshops, access to an entire ecosystem of experts, supporters and like-minded people at regional and international level and much more.

From Master's degree to million-dollar start-up - start-up success from studies and incubation at Hochschule München

What began as a degree course at HM Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences (HM ) developed into a success story: HM alumni Tobias Hetfleisch, Marc Gehring, Marco Zöller and Philipp Seiter not only used their Master's degree in Business Administration in Applied Business Innovation as a professional qualification, but also successfully used it as a springboard for their entrepreneurial vision. During their studies, they laid the foundations for today's AI start-up INTELLEGAM - accompanied by HM's entrepreneurship ecosystem and supported in an early phase by the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE).

Regional and smart solutions - Ammersee Hackathon on May 9

On May 9, 2026 from 10:00 to 16:00, the Ammersee Denkerhaus together with the SCE invites you to the hackathon "Smart and regionally solved" in Dießen am Ammersee. Who can take part? Anyone interested - from individuals and start-ups to newly formed teams. What is it about? We are looking for innovative solutions to current challenges facing the regional economy, such as AI in local businesses, sustainable tourism, mobility, municipal sustainability or new training methods in industry. Why take part? After the hackathon, the best ideas will be further developed together with mentors from the regional economy and could ideally lead to the founding of a company. Registration is now open by email; if you don't have a team yet, you can network in advance at the Meet & Match.

Free tickets for the freelance summit 2026 - Ready for the future

The Freelance Summit 2026 has the motto "Ready for the future" and focuses on key developments in freelancing, innovation and new forms of collaboration. The focus will be on topics such as artificial intelligence and its influence on self-employment, current market insights and trends, hybrid teams and future-relevant skills. Talks, panels and networking formats offer space for exchange, new contacts and cooperation.

The Bavarian Founder Award returns. From 1997 to 2019, the Bavarian Savings Banks presented the Bavarian Founder Award. From 2026, the award will once again be presented in various categories along the entrepreneurial development process. The Bavarian Founder Award puts the spotlight on personalities who recognize opportunities, take responsibility and develop sustainable business models from ideas. Applications for start-ups and up-and-comers are still possible until April 30, 2026.

Recap: APE International Bootcamp 2026: Testing ideas, discarding assumptions, starting over

The APE International Bootcamp took place at the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship in Munich at the beginning of March. Around 50 students from international and Bavarian partner universities - including Edinburgh Napier University, Toronto Metropolitan University and the University of Chemistry and Technology Prague - came together for an intensive week of work.
