OMIND platform secures financing round

The OMIND platform promotes an "Open Innovation Mindset" and is the first scalable transformation tool that enables companies to assess and develop the innovation readiness of their employees. Now, the SCE-funded startup has secured BW Pre-Seed funding from L-Bank Staatsbank of Baden-Württemberg! In addition, the two business angels Jan Griesbach and Sebastian Reckers are also involved.

Recap: Social X Factor 2023

From 19 to 26.07.2023 the Real Project "Social X Factor" took place. The block seminar is an absolute highlight for us every year. This year, 20 teams pursue one goal together for one week: They develop ideas in an interdisciplinary team, 2023 on the topic of "Sustainable Urban Development". The final event took place on July 26 in the pavilion of the Design Faculty.

The application phase for the HM and SCE ideas competition is open. As of now, exciting ideas are once again being sought for the Strascheg Award, which is endowed with prize money totaling 30,000 euros. AI-Start-up "Puppet" wins the Munich Innovation Award 2023

The Munich Innovation Award 2023 goes to the AI-Start-up Puppet, which is currently supported by the Accelerator Program at SCE. Second Mayor Katrin Habenschaden presented the award to the winning teams on July 19, 2023. They will also get the chance to further develop and test their solution approaches in an upcoming co-creation phase together with the city administration in real urban contexts. In addition to prize money of 10,000 euros, a budget of up to 15,000 euros is available for the implementation phase.

Half-time in EXIST start-up grant for start-up league team checkademia

For almost half a year now, our Start-up League team Checkademia can already look forward to the EXIST-Gründerstipendium from the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection. Alumni startup steptics receives funding from the German Federal Foundation for the Environment (DBU)

The SCE Alumni Start-up steptics has received funding from the German Federal Foundation for the Environment (DBU) through the "Green Start-up" funding programme. The programme supports young founders who develop innovative and economically viable solutions for the environment, ecology and sustainability. Steptics receives the full funding amount of 125,000 euros.

Start-up ChargeX receives €11.5 million in funding

In its Series-B funding round, SCE alumni start-up ChargeX secured a total of €11.5 million in funding from various investors. With its Aqueduct charging system, the e-mobility start-up offers intelligent multi-socket charging stations for charging e-cars and reduces costs and labor during installation with an innovative installation system.
