Batch #13 of SCE Incubation celebrated its official conclusion with a final pitch event. The start-ups presented their final investor pitches and impressed with their impressive progress, clear visions and genuine entrepreneurial spirit. Afterwards, all founders received their official SCE Incubation certificate, a well-deserved award after intensive months of work, growth and development. The evening ended with an open networking session where start-ups, coaches and partners exchanged ideas.

The Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE) congratulates its alumnus, the Munich-based fintech start-up Tangany, on its successful Series A financing round of over 10 million euros. Founded in 2019, the company is a BaFin-regulated specialist for the custody of digital assets and currently manages over 700,000 customer accounts with a total value of more than 3 billion euros.

The application phase for the SCE ideas competition at Munich University of Applied Sciences is open!

We are now looking for exciting ideas for the SCE Strascheg Award, which is endowed with prize money totaling 30,000 euros. All students, professors, employees and alumni of HM can apply online with their business ideas for the first two categories until September 12, 2025. For the first time, the award is also open to new external teams with initial market proof in a third category. APPLY NOW!

The third and final call for applications for the part-time doctoral program Doctorate in Business Innovation (DBI) will run from 2 to 5 September 2025. Interested parties only have a few days to apply for the program in the current academic year. The program is scheduled to start at the beginning of November. The DBI is offered by the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE) together with the University of Aveiro (Portugal) and is aimed at professionals with a Master's degree who would like to deepen their academic qualifications in the field of business innovation.

Dear alumni, SCE is once again taking part in the Financial Times evaluation of "Europe's Leading Start-up Hubs" - and we are counting on your support! The Financial Times - together with their research partner Statista and their colleagues at Sifted, the content platform for entrepreneurs - would like to evaluate accelerator and incubator programs in Europe.

Food Harbour Hamburg and EDEKA Nord are entering into a partnership that offers food companies - especially start-ups and innovative manufacturers - a unique opportunity to test new products under real sales conditions. The application phase for SFF START is officially open! START is the first phase of the international SFF Open Incubator - a 10-week intensive program that supports founders in developing their ideas into viable, incubation-ready business models. Until September 21, 2025 (11:59 PM CEST), founders, teams and solopreneurs have the chance to apply for the international program.
