On October 29, 2025, the beyond economy Festival at the House of Communication brought together entrepreneurs, innovators and changemakers to work together on the economy of tomorrow. The Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE) was right in the middle of it all as an Ecosystem Partner. Under the motto "Shaping tomorrow's economy together", the festival was all about cooperation, sustainability and innovation. Topics that fit perfectly with SCE's guiding principle "Beyond Entrepreneurship - Cultivating entrepreneurs and ecosystems of tomorrow".

A warm welcome to the 28 inter/national startups in our Batch #14 of SCE Incubation! We look forward to supporting these innovative and exciting start-up projects over the next 6 months and to accompanying the founders on their individual start-up journey!

We offer the accepted early-stage startups in an incubation tailored to their phase: intensive coaching (SCE start-up consultants, mentors, startup alumni from the network), a workplace in the incubator as a start-up home, infrastructure with labs/workshops, prototyping budget, various specialist workshops, access to an entire ecosystem of experts, supporters and like-minded people at regional and international level and much more.

On October 20, 2025, the winners of the SCE Strascheg Award 2025 were announced at a festive awards ceremony. After inspiring pitches and a lively start-up fair, the winning teams in three categories were announced in the evening. Congratulations to all winners and a big thank you to all participants for their dedicated contributions, their enthusiasm and their inspiring ideas!

A total of nine teams were awarded prize money of 30,000 euros. Team FemTech received the audience award, while the extra prize from the Bavarian University of Applied Sciences (HDBW) went to LUMA DRONES.

The Munich med-tech startup Puray, an SCE alumni team, won two major awards at the beginning of October: the International Founders Award 2025 (1st place) and 3rd place in the Generation-D competition. The SCE would like to congratulate the team on these impressive successes!

Puray is developing an innovative medical catheter that is disinfected with UVC light during use. This neutralizes all known viruses and bacteria - including multi-resistant germs - without risk to patients or medical staff. With this groundbreaking technology, Puray is setting new standards in infection prevention and has already received numerous awards and funding, including the Health-i Award 2022, the Signal Iduna Prize, the Prize for Innovation in Medical Technology and EXIST and FLÜGGE funding. The team was also part of Batch #6 of the SCE Incubation.

Munich University of Applied Sciences cordially invites you to the 12th Applied Science Slam on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.

From 7 p.m. (admission from 6:30 p.m.) in the large lecture hall G 0.01, Lothstraße 34, it will once again be "Ring frei!" for science in entertainment format. In ten minutes, students and staff will present their research topics with humor, practical relevance and creativity. Props, experiments and show interludes are expressly permitted. Whoever can elicit the most applause from the audience wins the title "Summa cum Stand-up" and the coveted HM red owl trophy.

On October 14, the participants in the ideas competition will be celebrated for their entrepreneurial thinking and wealth of ideas in the "Red Cube" at Munich University of Applied Sciences and nine winning teams will be chosen. Munich, Germany – October 1, 2025 – SYSTEMEU is a Horizon Europe COFUND project (Grant No. 101161224), co-financed by the European Commission under the HORIZON-EIE-2023-CONNECT-03-01, coordinated by the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE).

It is inviting qualified external agencies or consortia to submit service proposals until 31st of October 2025 to support the implementation of SYSTEMEU from 15 November 2025 to 31st December 2028.

At the first meeting of SCE Friends & Fellows in mid-September, we had the special pleasure of welcoming several founding members to the community, including companies and SCE alumni start-ups such as CLEW, Emma Grün, LocalPerformance GmbH, Masterwerk GmbH, Pascher+Heinz and Reichenberger GmbH. Our Managing Director Klaus Sailer was also able to present the first start-up plaques as a visible sign of our thanks for their support and active commitment.

Congratulations to Raphael El Chemaly, co-founder of Luggage Hook™ and graduate of our Master of Entrepreneurship and Digital Transformation, on the launch of his second Kickstarter campaign! After the successful market launch of the first Luggage Hook™, he is now presenting the next generation of his practical travel accessory, the Luggage Hook™ Pro, on October 1, 2025.

Batch #13 of SCE Incubation celebrated its official conclusion with a final pitch event. The start-ups presented their final investor pitches and impressed with their impressive progress, clear visions and genuine entrepreneurial spirit. Afterwards, all founders received their official SCE Incubation certificate, a well-deserved award after intensive months of work, growth and development. The evening ended with an open networking session where start-ups, coaches and partners exchanged ideas.

The Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE) congratulates its alumnus, the Munich-based fintech start-up Tangany, on its successful Series A financing round of over 10 million euros. Founded in 2019, the company is a BaFin-regulated specialist for the custody of digital assets and currently manages over 700,000 customer accounts with a total value of more than 3 billion euros.
