Major milestone for our alumni start-up FTAPI: The Munich-based company has secured a €65 million investment from renowned investors Tikehau Capital and Armira Growth.

With this funding, FTAPI aims to drive forward its vision of becoming the European market leader for secure data workflows and data exchange solutions. At the same time, the financing strengthens Europe's digital sovereignty - independent of non-European providers.

The 2025 Bundestag election will be held as an early election on 23 February 2025. Democracy thrives on diversity, co-determination and open cooperation. It is the foundation for innovation, trust and sustainable success - in politics, the economy and our society. Every vote counts when it comes to protecting and developing these values. That is why voting is not only a right, but also a responsibility. But how does the Bundestag election actually work? And which is more important: the first or the second vote? Munich-based drone manufacturer Quantum Systems is investing in SCE startup Alumni EFT Mobility - formerly known as Electric Flytrain - and acquiring a majority stake in the developer of electric drive systems.

Join us at the final conference of the European Lighthouse Project ‘Creating NEBourhoods Together’, one of the six flagship initiatives of the EU's New European Bauhaus (NEB). After two years of transformative work, the project proudly presents innovative places, concepts, and communities in Munich-Neuperlach that are pioneering the district's green transformation.

The Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE), HM Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences (HM), and the European Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (ECSB) are thrilled to announce the 3E Conference 2025. This premier event, themed "Responsible, Systemic, Democratic: New Trajectories in Entrepreneurship Education," will be held in Munich from May 21-23, 2025.

Clash of Trash II - The Robots fight again! The Clash Of Trash goes into the second round! In our big Clash Of Trash robot contest in the Precelerator, you have two weeks to build your own little robot - whether in a group or on your own, it doesn't matter. You will be accompanied by our TechExperts, who will provide you with the building kit and will be happy to help you perfect your robot in between. On April 10, the bots will then compete against each other in our Clash Of Trash Arena. Prizes will be awarded for the best design and, of course, the most robust robot. Kickoff for participants is on 31.03.2025!

With the cooperative, part-time doctoral program "Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA)", the SCE offers another doctoral opportunity in addition to the DBI. You can get an overview of the contents and the procedure on DBA Day 2025, on May 16, 2025 from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm. The event will take place as a face-to-face event at the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship. Registration at www.sce.de/events.

Are you toying with the idea of doing a doctorate alongside your job? You are cordially invited to our DBI Day 2025 on April 11 from 10.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. to find out more. On DBI Day, doctoral candidates interested in the Doctor of Business Innovation (DBI) will receive an overview of the content and process of the cooperative part-time doctoral program offered by the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship together with the University of Aveiro (UA) in Portugal. The event will take place virtually and is free of charge and without obligation. Registration at www.sce.de/events

The Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE), founding partner of AI+MUNICH, is pleased to announce the start of the application phase for the eleventh AI+MUNICH batch. AI startups can apply here until February 9 and receive up to €25,000 in prototype funding, individual mentoring and easier access to the Munich innovation ecosystem.
 

With the Student Entrepreneurship Monitor, the start-up association and start-up magnet is focusing on universities as an important starting point for young and innovative companies. The survey aims to find out what drives students, what things are important to them with regard to their professional future and what role entrepreneurship plays in this. The survey only takes 10 minutes and all data is collected anonymously. Thank you for taking part in the study!

In December, our colleague Moritz Hoffmann was a guest at the EIT Community New European Bauhaus 2024 Gathering in Barcelona as part of the APE project "Bavarian Alps Be&Care". The event provided a platform for project managers from all over Europe to exchange ideas, develop new ideas and discuss sustainable strategies for the future.
