Impactgarage closing event on 12.01.2023

70 students of the study programs Management of Social Innovations and Business Administration have analyzed, described and, if necessary, even calculated the social impact of five different partner and practice organizations in 14 interdisciplinary teams with great commitment in the past months. After promising interim presentations, the final event will now take place on Thursday, January 12, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Munich University of Applied Sciences at the Pasing Campus (Am Stadtpark 20, in the "Chapel" in room K127, 1st floor). For those interested who unfortunately cannot be present, a Zoom room has been set up.

M:Univercity invites to the "MeetUp@HM: Resilience. Together. Create!", on 13.02.2023 from 17:00-19:00. The topic of the evening is resilience and how science and research can make a crucial contribution to a resilient society. Through a broad spectrum of knowledge and targeted knowledge exchange, challenges can be addressed and solved in a targeted manner. The aim of the event is the topic-driven networking of partners from business, civil society and the city with HM scientists in order to exchange ideas and jointly develop new ideas and research projects.

Half-time in EXIST-Gründerstipendium for Start-up-League Team Silberfluss (formerly Advogarde)

Time flies so fast! Half a year ago, our Start-up League Team Silberfluss (formerly Advogarde) received the EXIST-Gründerstipendium from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. This start-up may be known to some from the Strascheg Award 2021, where they won in the category "Best Business Idea in Student Time". In the meantime, they are almost all out of their student days and have been able to enjoy the additional support of the EXIST scholarship alongside the Start-up Certificate as a support program from HM and SCE (and of course the Strascheg Award prize money) for half a year. So it's time to take stock.

For half a year now, our Start-up League team Omegga has been enjoying the EXIST-Gründerstipendium from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. The team's journey at SCE started with a strong 1st place at the Strascheg Award 2021, in the category "Best Business Idea from Science and Practice". Subsequently, they successfully went through Batch #6 of the Start-up Certificate funding program of HM and SCE. So it's time to take stock.

ChargeX supports #savesion campaign with free bi-directional charging infrastructure

Munich-based ChargeX, which specializes in charging infrastructure for many electric cars in one place, is supporting electric car company Sono Motors, which is also based in Munich. Sono Motors' #savesion campaign, launched on Dec. 8, 2022, calls for at least 3,500 vehicles to be fully deposited within the following 50 days so that further production steps can be initiated. To support the campaign, ChargeX is granting a free power sharing module to every commercial customer who makes a full down payment on the Sion as part of the #savesion campaign. This allows the Sion to be optimally integrated into the corporate fleet and, in addition to electric mobility, also optimize the local energy system.

On Tuesday, 20.12.2022, a digital lecture of the VDI lecture series on the topic of foundation and entrepreneurship will take place at 17:30. Under the title "Robotics, artificial intelligence, autonomous vehicles - development of visionary technical innovations and the own foundation", the co-founder of Motius GmBH, Mr. Sören Gunia, reports on the foundation and activities of his company. The lecture is chaired by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Andreas Eursch. Participation is possible via zoom.

APE participants for Product Design Workshop in Edinburgh

Sláinte! As every year, the current APE participants spent a week in Edinburgh. At the beginning of December, they participated in an exclusive product design workshop organized by our friends from Edinburgh Napier University and Bright Red Triangle. During the three-day program, the participants, together with Scottish design students, developed new product ideas on the themes of music, food, fashion & money. The program was supported by the Bavarian Youth Exchange Foundation. We say 'thank you' for having us back, look forward to next time and can't wait to welcome the Scottish students and coaches to our APE International Bootcamp 2023 in Munich at the end of February!

Digital participation - Start-up League Alumni enna receives million euro funding

enna wants to make the Internet possible for everyone. Thanks to the haptic operating concept, even people without digital literacy, especially seniors, can access services such as video telephony, digital content or information from the Internet. Now, our start-up certificate alumni was able to close the seed financing round with a seven-digit amount. The lead investor of the round is the Osnabrück-based family office zwei.7, which is backed by entrepreneur Karsten Wulf. The SCE congratulates very warmly on this renewed success.

ECOFARIO rebuilds stock preparation plant of HM paper technology laboratory

ECOFARIO originally developed their system to filter out microplastics from wastewater.
